INTRODUCTION This document lists the definitions that are used in the Rapid Connect Portal.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

APPLICATION TYPE

Virtual Terminal The web version of a physical terminal or Point-of-Sale (POS) device.

Gateway A gateway is implemented at the boundary of a network to manage all the data communication that is routed internally or externally from the network.

Shopping Cart A piece of e-commerce software on a web server that allows visitors to an Internet site to select items for purchase.

Terminal A device that is used for entering data into, and displaying or printing data from.

Mobile Instead of using your physical plastic card to make purchases, you can pay with your smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch.

Integrated POS An electronic device used to process card payments.

PAYMENT FACILITATOR

First Data’s Global Payment Facilitator Solution is an Aggregator model that allows the Payment Facilitator to offer a suite of services to their sub merchants. The program supports the Card Brand rules and guidelines which enables payment facilitators to facilitate payments seamlessly on behalf of multiple sub merchants.

Global Multi MID

Global Payment Facilitator (PFAC) Solution Model in which the Payment Facilitator and its Sub merchants are boarded to First Data and the transactions for the Sub merchants are aggregated on behalf of the sub merchants using their own merchant IDs (MIDs).

Global Single MID

Global Payment Facilitator (PFAC) Solution Model in which the Payment Facilitator and its Sub merchants are boarded to First Data and the transactions for the Sub merchants are aggregated under one merchant ID (MID).

MONEY TRANSFER

Funding The merchant will support an individual who will receive funds in a Money Transfer transaction.

Payment The merchant will support an individual who will pay funds in a Money Transfer transaction.

Person to Person An individual uses an app to move money of their onto another person's debit card.

Person to Person Initiated An individual uses an online banking tool to move money from their account to someone else's debit card.

Merchant Disbursement An individual has their debit card on file at a company who uses it to pay any debts the individual may owe.

Gambling Payout A merchant is paying another business for their services.

Government Disbursement Tax refunds are placed onto an individual's debit card.

Funds Disbursement An individual has their debit card on file at a company who uses it to pay any debts the individual may owe.

Online Gambling Winnings from an online gambling are placed onto an individual's debit card.

Payroll/Pension Disbursements Transaction initiated from an employer to an employee's debit card.

Loyalty and Offers Rebates are sent to an individual's debit card for recent purchases.

Business to Business A merchant is paying another business for their services.

DEBIT

PIN Debit

Sometimes referred to as Online Debit, online debit is processed on the ATM network of the cardholder's bank. The card is swiped or inserted at the point of sale and the consumer is asked to enter their Personal Identification Number (PIN). Money comes directly out of the user's bank account. Also could be EFT Network (Star, Pulse, NYCE, etc.)

PINless Bill Pay Debit

PINless Debit payments refer to debit card purchases made over an EFT Network (Star, Pulse, NYCE, etc.) without a customer entering their PIN.

Functionality designed to support swipe-and-go convenience for debit purchases under $50 at the POS. Cardholders are not required to enter a PIN.

Signature Debit

Sometimes referred to as Offline Debit, is processed in a manner similar to a credit card transaction. If the debit card carries a card brand, such as Visa or MasterCard, the card may be processed by simply swiping it through a credit card terminal that supports that card's brand. The transaction is processed over the merchant's credit or debit card network and the customer provides their signature as approval of the transaction.

Interac

The Association (branded as simply Interac) is a Canadian nonprofit that links financial institutions and other enterprises for the purpose of exchanging electronic financial transactions. Can also be processed in the US via the Nyce network. I.e. Debit transactions. https://interac.ca/en/.

EBT

Electronic Benefits Transfer – A used at the point of sale to a government account for Cash Benefits or Food Benefit (future release).

EBT Cash Benefits

Electronic Benefits Transfer – A payment card used at the point of sale to access a government account for Cash.

EBT Food Benefits/SNAP

Electronic Benefits Transfer – A payment card used at the point of sale to access a government account for Food. SNAP: Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program formerly known as EBT Food Benefit. eWIC

WIC is the special supplemental nutrition program for Women Infants Children. E-WIC is the administration of WIC benefits using an electronic payment card.

A card or fleet card is used as a payment card most commonly for , diesel, and other at gas stations. Fleet cards can also be used to pay for vehicle maintenance and expenses at the discretion of the fleet owner or manager. Fleet cards are unique due to the convenient and comprehensive reporting that accompanies their use. Fleet cards enable fleet owners/ managers to receive real time reports and set purchase controls with their cards helping them to stay informed of all business related expenses.

CHECK

TeleCheck Paper

TeleCheck’s Paper Check Service offers both a warranty and verification service performed as a Face to Face transaction at a Brick & Mortar location to merchants nationwide. All approved checks must be deposited in the Merchant’s bank. Processing can require Dual ID processing (Dual ID Processing requires MICR Data, Driver’s License, State Code,) or MICR only.

Certegy

Certegy is a Check Service Provider that provides check authorization and guarantee services to merchants and businesses nationwide. Certegy requires Dual ID processing. Dual ID Processing requires MICR Data, Driver’s License, State Code and Driver’s License Date of Birth to be entered in the transaction.

The two entry methods of processing Certegy checks are:

• MICR information read from the check, Driver’s License, State Code and Driver’s License Date of Birth.

• Hand-keyed MICR information from the check, Driver’s License, State Code and Driver’s License Date of Birth.

TeleCheck ECA - Full MICR and ID

Electronic Check Acceptance offers both a warranty and verification service performed as a Face to Face transaction at a Brick & Mortar location: Dual ID check processing consists of two forms of check writer IDs: Full MICR information (ABA number, checking account number, and check sequence number) scanned from the check through a check reader, and check writer identification data such as Driver’s License and State Code. Approved transactions will be funded in two banking days to the merchant’s bank. If the MICR information is keyed (not scanned) the transaction is processed as a Paper Check transaction.

TeleCheck ECA - Full MICR Only

Electronic Check Acceptance offers both a warranty and verification service performed as a Face to Face transaction at a Brick & Mortar location where the full MICR information (ABA number, checking account number, and check sequence number) is scanned through a check reader. Approved transactions will be funded in two banking days to the Merchant’s bank. If the MICR information is keyed (not scanned) the transaction is processed as a Paper Check transaction.

TeleCheck Internet Check

Provides online customers who prefer to pay on line using their bank account a broad-reaching, low-cost payment alternative to credit/debit. Authorize single or recurring personal, business and corporate payments on line in real time. Funding next banking day for transactions approved prior to 4:00pm CST.

TeleCheck Checks by Phone

Provides customers who prefer to pay by phone using their bank accounts a broad-reaching, low-cost payment alternative to credit/debit. Clients can authorize payments from personal checking accounts in real time from their customers over the phone. Funding next banking day for transactions approved prior to 4:00pm CST.

TeleCheck Remote Pay

Provides customers who prefer to initiate recurring payments a broad-reaching, low-cost payment alternative to credit/debit. Initiate recurring payments in a face to face environment and process them electronically as a PPD transaction. Funding next banking day for transactions approved prior to 4:00pm CST.

Prepaid An open-loop prepaid card is a card with a network logo on it. Examples of networks are Visa, MasterCard, , and Discover. These cards can be used at any location that accepts that brand. A closed-loop prepaid card is a card you can only use at certain locations. For example, a closed loop card might be good only at a specific store or group of stores, or on your public transportation system. Most closed loop cards do not have a network logo on them.

FD Prepaid Closed Loop First Data's standard closed loop prepaid card solution designed to be used only at the issuer’s locations. Also referred to as ValueLink.

InComm A brand of Prepaid Card sold in a Gift card mall environment www.incomm.com/.

Stored Value Systems A brand of Prepaid Card. SVS is a global provider of gift cards and stored value solutions. Operates similar to Valuelink. http://www.storedvalue.com/en-US/home.

Solspark/Everywhere Gift Card First Data's open loop prepaid card. http://www.storedvalue.com/en-US/about/index.

FD Prepaid Closed Loop Internet First Data's standard closed loop prepaid card solution designed to be used only at the issuer’s locations. Available through Compass (ValueLink).

Blackhawk A brand of prepaid card sold in a gift card mall. https://blackhawknetwork.com/content/.

OTHER

Private Label A private label credit card is a store-branded credit card that can only be used at that store. A private- label credit card is a type of revolving credit plan managed by a bank or commercial finance company for either or wholesale manufacturers, such as department and specialty stores.

ALTERNATIVE PAYMENTS Alternative Payments is a method of payment that does not use a credit or debit card. The following are examples of a few methods: Bank transfers, Direct Debits, E-wallets, Mobile (charged to mobile carrier), Cash on Delivery, Digital Currencies.

PayPal PayPal Holdings, Inc. provides online payment services in multiple currencies.

TRANSACTION FEATURES

ACCOUNT ENTRY MODE

Swiped Refers to the passage of a through a payment processing terminal capable of reading customer payment card information off of the card to process a transaction.

Keyed Refers to manually entering "keying" customer payment card information into a credit card terminal/machine, an Internet-connected computer or an online (“virtual”) system.

Contactless A card data entry mode also known as Near Field Communication (NFC), that allows for transference of customer payment card information without a physical connection between the card and the terminal. Transfer of data can be made with either a "Tap" or waive of the card/device in close proximity of the NFC capable terminal.

In Application A payment that occurs electronically within a mobile application using a payment token.

EMV EMV is a smart chip technology that offers an additional step for authentication beyond the traditional magnetic stripe card payment for card-present transactions (commonly called Chip and PIN or smart cards). In addition to the security chip, which is placed inside of a reader during a transaction, EMV also verifies the cardholder’s identity with the use of a PIN or signature.

MOBILE OPTIONS

PayButton/Visa Staged Digital Wallet operators

Apple Pay Apple Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service. With Apple Pay, owners of certain Apple mobile devices can make in-store (NFC) and in-app payments.

Apple Pay On The Web Apple Pay on the Web lets you access payment details that your users have stored in their Wallet.

Google Pay Google Pay is a digital wallet platform and online payment system developed by Google to power in-app and tap-to-pay purchases on mobile devices.

Samsung Pay

Samsung Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service by Samsung Electronics that lets users make payments using compatible phones and other Samsung-produced devices.

ECOMMERCE

Secure eComm txn Secure Electronic Commerce Transaction designates an Internet transaction at a 3-D Secure capable merchant and the cardholder information is fully authenticated. Certification to support this feature includes MasterCard Secure Code. Verified by Visa and American Express SafeKey (AESK).

Non-authenticated txn at 3-D Location "(Non-authenticated 3-D Secure transaction). Designates an Internet transaction where the merchant attempted to authenticate the cardholder information using 3-D Secure with one of the following:

• A non-participating Issuer • A non-participating cardholder of a participating Issuer • A participating Issuer, but the authentication server is not available"

Non-authenticated txn at non-3-D Location (Channel Encrypted Transaction) – Designates an Internet transaction which involves the use of encryption such as SSL, but not 3-D authentication.

Non-secure txn Non secure Electronic Commerce Transaction) Designates an Internet transaction where the cardholder‘s information was transmitted without 3-D authentication or any encryption method.

MISCELLANEOUS

CVC2/CVV2/CID The Card Verification Value (CVV) is a three to four digit security code found on the front or back of a credit card that is used to verify authenticity. Each card association has its own name for this value: Visa calls it the Card Verification Value (CVV2), MasterCard calls it the Card Validation Code (CVC2), and American Express and Discover refer to it as Card Identification Digits (CID). The “2” refers to the printed code on the card. (CVV1 is encoded on the magnetic stripe of the card.).

Soft Descriptors AKA Dynamic Descriptors: Optional field(s) (i.e. Alternate Merchant Name, Address, City, State, email) supplied if the merchant desires to use given merchant information in the transaction instead of the information stored in the First Data Merchant File/Record. These are printed on the cardholder statement.

Discover Full Name Introduced in Spring 2014 as Compliance mandate if Acquirers support AVS Functionality. The change applies to Card Not Present environment only. Used as a mechanism to match the name within the transaction message/magnetic stripe to the name embossed on the card.

AVS Address and Zip Code Address Verification Service (AVS): A system established by the credit card processing associations to verify customer billing addresses submitted with e-commerce payment transactions. Though AVS does not verify the legitimacy of a transaction, Card Not Present merchants can use AVS to accept or decline transactions based on the validity of the billing address information provided by the customer.

Online Download of EMV Key The merchant performs an initial file download via a series of AdminRequest messages with Transaction Type FileDownload and File Type value of EMV2KEY. Each successful response will return one file data block.

Multiple Clearing Transactions The linking of multiple presentments with partial amounts to a single approved authorization.

Fraud Flex Detect Fraud FlexDetect is a white labeled, First Data e-commerce fraud solution that utilizes the Accertify® Interceptas risk platform. It performs real-time transactional risk scoring and decisioning (accept, reject or review) based on the client's customized parameters.

Quasi Cash A Quasi-Cash transaction is defined as the sale of an item that converts to cash, such as transactions performed at a casino cash cage, casino gaming chips, money orders, deposits, wire transfer money orders, travelers' cheques and Visa Travel/Money cards.

Re-Auth Used to designate a non-recurring reauthorization transaction (e.g. standing approval, card on file or split shipment transaction).

NACS Product Codes NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CONVENIENCE STORES- These are codes that a Convenience Store programs into their POS to identify merchandise (unleaded fuel, cigarettes, etc.)

AVS Zip Code Only Submission of the postal code of the cardholder while attempting to perform address verification.

TERMINAL CATEGORY CODES

Unspecified Terminal Category Code to be assigned for categories not currently supported.

Electronic (POS) A payment terminal, also known as a point of sale terminal, credit card terminal, EFTPOS terminal and is a device which interfaces with payment cards to make electronic funds transfers.

Automated Fuel Dispensing Machine (AFD) Automated Fuel Dispenser (AFD) is a machine at a that is used to pump gasoline, petrol, diesel, or other types of fuel into vehicles.

Unattended Customer Terminal

Also referred to as Unattended Payment Terminal (UPT) - It is a cardholder-operated payment terminal that reads, captures and transmits card information in conjunction with an unattended self-service device, including, but not limited to, the following:

• Automated Fuel Dispenser • Ticketing Machine • Vending Machine

Mobile Terminal (Transponder) Wireless terminal/device

Electronic Cash Register An Electronic Cash Register (ECR) is a system designed to enable products to be sold at a retail outlet. Electric cash registers help large retail outlets track sales, minimize register errors, collect inventory data and much more.

Ticket Machine A ticket machine, also known as a Ticket Vending Machine (TVM), is a vending machine that produces/dispenses ticket (i.e. Train tickets at railway stations, transit tickets at metro stations).

Call Center Operator A person who handles incoming calls; subsequently collecting cardholder data over the phone for a telephone order purchase.

Ecommerce Customer Present Cardholder goes to Kiosk and uses their mobile app to make a purchase.

Interactive Voice Response A telephone technology that can read a combination of Dual-tone multi-frequency (DTMF) touch tones and voice input.

CASH OPTIONS

Debit Cash Back Debit card cashback is a service offered to retail customers whereby an amount is added to the total purchase price of a transaction paid by debit card and the customer receives that amount in cash along with the purchase.

EBT Cash Back EBT cash back is a benefit offered to an EBT client whereby an amount is added to the total purchase price of a transaction paid for by an EBT card and the customer receives that amount in cash along with the purchase. Retailers that participate in EBT decide what level of “cash back” they will allow a client per visit using the POS device. Each store may have a different policy. Cash back only transactions are possible depending upon the retailer.

Discover Cash Over The ability to get additional cash in hand over the purchase amount while using a at checkout. Marketed as a solution to avoiding ATM fees. Regular purchase APR applies to the cash that is received.

INTERNATIONAL CURRENCY SOLUTIONS

Global Merchant Acquiring (GMA) A single global acquiring card processing solution for e-commerce business. It offers multi-national payment acceptance and a local market presence through a single source for integration, pricing, funding and reporting.

Global ePricing (GeP) Designed specifically for US based e-commerce/MOTO merchants, First Data's Global ePricingSM service provides the opportunity for on-line merchants to grow their business internationally by pricing goods or services in more than 130 currencies while still receiving funding in USD.

Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) or Cardholder Preferred Currency (CPC) is a financial service that offers credit/debit cardholders the ability to see the cost of a foreign transaction converted to their local currency. The cardholder has visibility to all fees up front with no surprises later. This feature is available only for Visa and MasterCard.

Common names for the British Pound include the Pound Sterling, Sterling, Quid, Cable, and Nicker.

EURO

Official currency of the European Union and its territories.

Canadian Currency.

ADDITIONAL PRODUCTS

TRANSARMOR First Data's dual-layered (tokenization and encryption) payment card security solution that removes sensitive payment card data from merchant environments, reducing the thread and liability associated with a data breach.

TransArmor Encryption Software Based Encryption (RSA/Public Key Infrastructure PKI). The public key resides on the merchant device, while the private key resides within the First Data data center. First Data provides the 11-digit public key. There are test and production keys. Keys are rotated yearly or every two years to meet or exceed PCI requirements. It is not format-preserving. The encrypted data does not resemble original data and is not put in the Primary Account Number (PAN) field, but is appended at the end of the message.

TransArmor VeriFone Edition Encryption Hardware Based Encryption by Verifone that is format preserving, installed at the hardware level and supported by the Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) standards.

Multi-Pay Token Refers to a reusable token. The multi-pay token replaces sensitive data with surrogate numbers, matching the format and length of the initiating PAN while sharing the last four digits of the corresponding PAN. Multi-Pay Tokens are card-based, meaning a merchant will always get the same token back for a specific PAN. Allows a merchant to use the token with the processor gateway that holds the token vault in order to run subsequent transactions such as a recurring payment or a refund. This is

done without the need to prompt the customer for his card account number again, and without having to store the actual card number.

Token Initiated Transactions A transaction that is performed without the card being present, such as a refund or recurring payment. The transaction is "initiated" utilizing the token that was obtained to the PAN.

TransArmor VeriFone Edition Encryption POSID A specific Buypass function for clients who do not support unique Terminal ID's on Buypass. A solution to facilitate proper decryption against TAVE's requirement for unique TIDs per device.

Ingenico Onguard Open Architecture for Point to Point Encryption for magnetic stripe, EMV, NFC/contactless and manual entry transactions.

PURCHASING CARD A purchasing card (also abbreviated as PCard or P-Card) is a form of company that allows goods and services to be procured without using a traditional purchasing process. Can also be referred to as procurement cards.

PCARD II A transaction including additional line item detail to support business-to-business (B2B) payment processing using corporate cards. Includes additional data elements such as:

• Tax Amount (Between 0.1% and 31% of the total amount) • Customer Code or PO number • Merchant Zip Code

PCARD III A transaction including additional line item detail associated with B2B-heavy industries and/or transactions that involve Government cards. Includes the additional data elements for Level II :

• Ship-From Zip Code • Destination Zip Code • Invoice Number • Order Number • Item Product Code • Item Commodity Code • Item Description • Item Quantity • Item Unit of Measure • Item Extended Amount • Freight Amount • Duty Amount

SPECIAL DOWNLOADS

Mail The merchant performs an initial file download via a series of AdminRequest messages with Transaction Type FileDownload and the appropriate File Type value. Each successful response will return one file data block.

Host Discount Total amount of host discounts applied to the financial transactions in shift or business day totals. This is a back office setup that allows discounts to be applied at the pump (Buy one get one free/50 cents off a gallon).

Date/Time Load Pulls in the current day, month, and year to the terminal. Adjustments auto set for Day Light Savings Time.

Table Load TABLE – Merchant/Terminal Parameter Table. This load will send merchant specific parameters to the terminal (entitlement information). Mainly used in a petroleum environment.

Receipt Text RECTXT – This load will send a request to the terminal to retrieve custom text to be printed on all receipts.

Card Tables A Proprietary Card Configuration Table Merchants configure in Buypass to configure fuel pumps (i.e. Velocity settings).

SETTLEMENT TRANSACTION TYPE

Daily Totals Report with Close Identifies a request for totals for the current settlement date; ends the current settlement date; and rolls the date to the next settlement date.

BILL PAYMENTS

Recurring Payments Charges applied to a cardholder in predetermined intervals for services or goods of an ongoing nature (memberships, subscriptions). Recurring transactions are only applicable for Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover (including Diners and JCB Domestic), and PINLess Debit transactions.

Single Payments Payment of the entire principal sum at the end of its duration instead of in monthly installments.

Deferred Payments Type of payment arrangement that is often in retail settings where a person buys and receives an item with a commitment to begin making payments at a future date.

Installment Payments Payments towards debt that is generally repaid in equal monthly payments that include interest and a portion of principal.

AMEX Plan N & DPP This is an American Express Deferred payment program. This program is designed to request American Express to postpone and or divide the payment(s) over a certain period of time. In order for merchants to support Plan N payments, they must also support non-Plan N transactions through First Data. The Merchant must have an agreement with American Express to process Plan N transactions.

FSA/HSA/HRA and TRANSIT A Flexible Spending Account (FSA)(also known as a flexible spending arrangement) is a special account you put pre-tax money into that is used to pay for certain out-of-pocket health care costs. Health (HSA) is a tax-advantaged medical savings account available to taxpayers in the United States who are enrolled in a high-deductible health plan (HDHP). The funds contributed to an account are not subject to federal income tax at the time of deposit. A Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA), commonly referred to as a health reimbursement account, is an IRS-approved, employer-funded, tax-advantaged employer health benefit plan that reimburses employees for out-of-pocket medical expenses and individual health insurance premiums. Transit Account is a pre-tax benefit account used to pay for public transit—including train, subway, bus, ferry or vanpool—for commuting expenses to and from work.

TRANSACTION TYPES

TRANSACTION TYPE

Authorization A transaction that is used to transmit an authorization request to First Data where it is not captured for settlement processing. A subsequent Completion transaction is then submitted to First Data to be captured for settlement processing.

Balance Inquiry A transaction that is used to return the current balance on an active account.

Balance Lock This transaction will lock the requested amount up to the current available balance for a preset time. One or more locks can be active on a Prepaid Closed Loop card at one time.

Cashout A transaction that is used to remove the remaining balance from a card. The cash out transaction will bring the account balance to zero.

Cashout Active Status This transaction is used to remove the remaining balance from the card and the account status stays as active.

Completion A transaction that is used to submit for settlement a previously approved Authorization or a voice approved transaction. Completion transactions where the merchant receives a Response Code of ‘000’, must not be resent to Rapid Connect, as that could result in multiple charges to the same card.

Load This transaction will add value to a Prepaid Closed Loop card and change the status to active when purchasing a card. If the Prepaid Closed Loop card is already active, the value is added to the existing balance of the Prepaid Closed Loop card.

Redemption A Redemption transaction reduces the balance of an active Prepaid Closed Loop or Open Loop card.

Redemption Unlock This transaction is performed after a Balance Lock transaction to complete the purchase on a Prepaid Closed Loop card and unlock any remaining balance from the Balance Lock transaction.

Refund A transaction that is used to credit funds to the account holder.

Reload This transaction adds value to an already active Prepaid Closed Loop or Open Loop card account.

Sale A transaction that is used to authorize and capture the amount in one transaction.

Verification A transaction that is used to determine if a card is active.

Voucher Clear This is an online force-post entry of a previously voice-authorized SNAP transaction. Entry of the authorization number and the voucher number is required, and the account number is manually entered without PIN data.

Void/Full Reversal A transaction that is used to cancel or fully reverse a previous transaction.

Partial Reversal A reversal transaction where the amount is less than the original authorization amount.

Partial Authorization An authorization response with an approval for a portion of the total amount requested. Partial Authorization support is generally required for all Merchants in card-present environments in order to accommodate cardholder accounts where limited funds may be available (e.g. Debit or Open Loop Prepaid cards). Additionally, Merchant Aggregators and MOTO Merchants are required to support Partial Authorization approvals. Ecommerce merchants have the option to support Partial Authorization approvals and are strongly encouraged to do so.

Activation A transaction that is performed when the purchase of a Prepaid Closed Loop or Open Loop card occurs. It adds value and changes the status of the Prepaid Closed Loop or Open Loop card to active.

Incremental Authorization A request for an additional dollar amount on a prior authorization. An incremental authorization is used when the final amount for a transaction is greater than the dollar amount of the original authorization. Incremental authorizations are common in the lodging industry.

TA Token Request A non-financial transaction submitted by the merchant/software solely to obtain a token that replaces sensitive values (PAN Data) with non-sensitive token values (a token).

Non-TransArmor Test Cases Test Cases provided in the project SDK that are not associated with TransArmor encryption or decryption.

Batch Open This transaction initiates the transfer of a batch from the POS device to the Host.

Batch Settle Detail A transaction that is used to send Batch Settlement Details to Rapid Connect.

Batch Close Compass: This transaction is sent upon the successful transmission of the last BatchSettleDetail or BatchSettleL3 transaction for the batch. This transaction indicates the end of the batch.

Change Compass: A Transaction used to adjust the amount of a previously submitted Check Completion transaction.

Disable Internet Transactions A transaction used to disable a Prepaid Closed Loop card so that it cannot be used on the Internet.

Fraud Score Only A transaction to obtain a fraud score without performing an authorization. Fraud Scoring requires the usage of a specific "Fraud Score Indicator" within the Fraud Mitigation Group.

Generate Key A transaction that is used to generate a merchant specific key that is used in all Prepaid Closed Loop transactions with an extended account number (EAN).

Internet Activation A transaction used to activate a Prepaid Closed Loop card via the Internet.

Adjustment of Sale Adjustment transaction cancels the processing associated with a previously approved authorization. This is a Canadian Void

Adjustment of Refund Adjustment transaction cancels the processing associated with a previously approved authorization. This is a Canadian Refund

Canada Key Request A transaction that is used to request a new key for Canadian merchants.
