We’ve assessed your deployment application and agree that you may start to operate.

Your deployment lasts for one year and expires on 23/09/2019. If you wish to continue after this date you must complete another deployment application.

You are required to notify us at least 48 hours but no more than 7 days in advance of the intention to commence spreading operations under this deployment. You do this by fully completing and emailing the attached Pre-Notification Form to [email protected]. In the event that you do not have access to email please telephone 0300 065 3000 and state that you wish to “Pre-Notify for Landspreading”.

You must comply with your permit and carry out the activities in accordance with the requirements of the agreed deployment application unless we agree otherwise in writing. The term ‘deployment application’ refers to the deployment form and all of the accompanying information. The accompanying information is that sent in with the deployment form and any additional information received during the assessment.

Please remember that your deployment activity should not: • be harmful to human health, or the quality of the environment, • cause offence to human sense, • result in damage to material property or • impair or interfere with amenities or other legitimate uses of the environment or use processes which could endanger human health or harm the environment. • breach any requirements relating to cross compliance including The Nitrate Pollution Prevention (Wales) Regulations 2013 (NVZ rules) • breach any requirements relating to Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulations (2002) • breach any other directly applicable legislation.

If you fail to comply with these requirements you may be committing an offence and enforcement action may be taken against you. Failure to meet any of these Cross Compliance standards could result in a financial penalty being imposed by Welsh Government on the Direct Payments for the land deployed upon. This will include the Basic Payment Scheme (BPS); and Welsh Government Rural Communities - Rural Development area based schemes.

Please ensure where relevant the farmer/landowner is given a copy of the spreading records for inclusion in the farm records e.g. Glastir Activity diary or NVZ records both of which are a legal requirement.
