Daily Opening Meditation & Prayers Meditation The hour is coming, and now is, when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father seeks such to worship him. (John 4:23) Confession of Sin Merciful God, we confess that we've sinned against you in thought, word, and deed: by what we've done, and by what we've left undone. We haven't loved you with our whole heart and we haven't loved our neighbors as ourselves. For the sake of your Son Jesus Christ, help us turn away from these sins. Have mercy and forgive us, so we can take joy in your will, and walk in your ways for the glory of Jesus' name. Amen. Word of Assurance God is full of compassion and mercy: O come, let us adore him! Prayer of Praise () Be joyful in the Lord, all you nations. Serve him with gladness and come before him with songs. Know this: the Lord is God — he made us and not we ourselves. We are his people and the sheep of his pasture. Make way into his gates with thanks, and enter his courts with praise. Be thankful to him and bless his name: Jesus! For Jesus is so gracious to us, his mercies are neverending, and his truth lasts from generation to generation. Amen.

Daily Scripture Readings At this point, please find the daily reading on the second page.

Daily Closing Prayers The Lord's Prayer Our Father, who is in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen. Prayer for Peace O God, Author of peace & unity, and Keeper of our eternal life: protect us from all attacks of our enemies: sin, death, and all things that lead us to forget your great love for us. Help us rest calmly in your perfect care for us; so we would not fear. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen. 2 DAILY SCRIPTURE READINGS
