CSF Achievers Scholars Program – Overview The CSF Achievers Scholars program provides the support and guidance that students need to successfully navigate their senior year, including the college admissions/financial aid process and the transition from high school to college.

What are the goals of the CSF Achievers Scholars program?

The program has three primary goals:

. Identification and reduction of barriers to college for low-income, underserved students. . Direct service to students to support successful navigation of the college admissions process. . Development of a diverse cadre of college-educated citizens and leaders in State.

What does the CSF Achievers Scholars program offer?

Program components include:

 Academic and college planning o Transcript evaluation and course planning support o Summer Achievers College Experience o Monthly meetings with CSF college prep advisor o College workshops . Personal statement writing . Preparing for college admissions tests . Completing a college application . Paying for college including FAFSA completion and scholarship search support o College campus experiences  High school to college transition support o Connection to college campus resources and opportunities o Access to college and career workshops

 Auburn Public Schools: Auburn Mountainview High School, Auburn Riverside High School, Auburn Senior High School  Bremerton Public Schools: Bremerton High School  Kent Public Schools: Kent-Meridian High School, Kentridge High School, Kentwood High School  : Evergreen Campus, Highline High School, Mount Rainier High School, Tyee Educational Complex  Port Angeles Public Schools: Port Angeles High School  Public Schools: Cleveland High School, Garfield High School, Rainier Beach High School  Spokane Public Schools: Ferris High School, Lewis & Clark High School, North Central High School, Rogers High School, Shadle Park High School  Tacoma Public Schools: Foss High School, Lincoln High School, Mount Tahoma High School, Stadium High School and Wilson High School  Yakima Public Schools: Davis High School and Eisenhower High School
