Remutaka Hill Road Upcoming resilience works and night closures In late May and early June, urgent resilience works are happening to improve the strength of the Remutaka Hill road and keep it in a safe condition long-term for the Wairarapa and Wellington region communities it links.

The Remutaka Hill road will be closed from 9 pm to 4 am each night and under stop/go traffic management at all other times during weeks 1 and 2 below:
