Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday morning. We're all waking up to another day of God's mercy and grace. All of our blessings are new to us today. I was speaking to a St. Paul brother prior to Monday night's worship service and he suggested that I was probably an angel all of my life. Well, I almost choked I was laughing so hard. "Not exactly" I told him. When I was a teenager, my mother would often remind me that my horns were holding up my halo. That's probably one of the most truthful things you could ever say about me, maybe even about many of us. Even though we are believers, that doesn't make us perfect, that only means that we believe in a Savior Who was, and is perfect. "Saint and sinner" would be a perfect description though. Thank the Lord that He left the comfort of Heaven to be born in a stable and became poor, just so that He could grow to take our sins upon Himself, and die on a cross for us as well, bringing us forgiveness for all eternity. So if you find that you are less than perfect, then also remember that Jesus died to save us from the sins that would prevent our eternal life in Heaven, if not for His sacrifice. We can say this every day, and all day long, say it with me, "What a friend we have in Jesus." Amen. Have a swell Western Wednesday in the name of Jesus. Our song for this wonderful day is "How Do I Live Without You." we had a choice between the versions by and LeAnn Rimes, I chose Trisha. . .
