• Held site visit for Project Tollway on February 21, 2019 (1.2-1.3 million SF distribution center, 1,200 new jobs, $200 million capital investment) • Held site visit for Project Bell on February 27, 2019 (15-30 acres, 40,000 SF facility, 50 new jobs to start and up to 100 new jobs at full employment, $5 million capital investment to start) • Attended the MD&M West - Advanced Manufacturing Expo with Team Texas and Site Location Partnership. Team Texas had 10 pre- set appointments with companies that want to expand in Texas where Denton representative attended the meetings and is following up on all leads. Also had a booth space and presence in conjunction with the Site Location Partnership booth where additional leads were cultivated and are being followed up with • Attended pre-Denton County Days meetings with the delegation and the Economic Development team • Attended Denton County Days in Austin with County delegation • Attended the Team Texas Advisory Council meeting in Austin (Denton representative currently holds a seat on the board for 2019) • Attended the Denton Community Development Alliance meeting with City staff on the new Denton Development Code • Presented Economic Development update to the City Council with Denton Chamber and Denton CVB • Spoke at the Denton Breakfast Kiwanis Club meeting at the Embassy Suites and gave Economic Development updates and an overview • Attended webinar on Team Texas Member Information Session • Met with several DFW brokers and consultants to give an overview of Denton's industrial market and assets • Met with potential and current private Economic Development Partnership investors • Attended the Downtown Task Force meeting
