This book is a totally unique tribute, an exclusive and intimate portrait of the iconic Italian tenor. The author of this biography is Edwin Tinoco, a name you may never have heard before. Edwin was Luciano Pavarotti’s confidant and part of the tenor’s entourage for almost thirteen years. From 1995 until Pavarotti’s death in 2007, this twenty-two year old boy from Peru lead an eventful, star-studded life as the Maestro’s personal assistant, secretary and friend, witnessing an extraordinary way of life and telling thousands of anecdotes. This biography combines both the public and private Pavarotti but above all shows his most intimate side, perhaps his sincerest side, as told by his PA. The Maestro’s generosity and spontaneity never faltered even when fame turned him into a worldwide phenomenon. Edwin Tinoco was born in Peru. Graduated in Media Studies and Psychology at the San Martin de Porres University of Lima, he worked as food and beverage Manager in a Five-Star Hotel in the capital of Peru. In 1995 he joined the staff of the world-famous Italian tenor Luciano Pavarotti, and he’ll soon became his personal assistant. He soon began to follow the Maestro all over the world, as a responsible for the World Tour, until September 2007. He took part in several editions of the Pavarotti and friends, making friends with great artists like Bono Vox, Céline Dion, Lionel Richie, Ricky Martin, Laura Pausini. He also took part in the World Tour of the Three Tenors and in the last Worldwide Farewell Tour of Luciano Pavarotti.
