From staff and wire reports After starting the day seven shots back, senior golfer Dustin White shot a 67 for the final round to win the Turtle Bay Collegiate in Honolulu. White’s final-round score was six shots better than the average of the other players who finished in the Top 25. It is the second time this year White has shot a 67, also doing it in the Wolf Pack Classic on Oct. 7 in Reno, Nev. “Dustin has played well all fall and to finish off by tying his best round this year is exiting in itself,” WSU coach Walt Williams Dean Hare/Daily Evergreen said. “But a win against a very strong field is huge.” Dustin White spies out a difficult shot on the at the Vandal Classic It was the second career vic- tournament in Moscow on Sept. 28. tory for White, who also won As a team, WSU also tied it for the fourth-place it the Coastal Carolina Invite matched season bests.
