DuMor Site Furnishings, Inc., one of America's most prominent producers of site furnishings, is adding several new site furnishings to our already extensive line for 2006. For over 20 years, DuMor Site Furnishings has been designing stylish and functional site furnishings for parks and common areas across the country. Site furnishings by DuMor Site Furnishings are available with a variety of polyester powder finishes, heavy-duty support options, recycled plastic colors, as well as high-grade woods.

1.4 SUBMITTALS

A. Submit under provisions of Section 01 30 00 - Administrative Requirements.

B. Product Data: Manufacturer's data sheets on each product to be used, including:

1. Preparation instructions and recommendations.

2. Storage and handling requirements and recommendations.

3. Installation methods.

C. Shop Drawings: Complete details of layout and assembly, showing member sizes and part identification, fasteners, anchors, and fittings.

D. LEED Submittals: Provide documentation of how the requirements of Credit will be met:

1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE

A. Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum of 15 years experience manufacturing site furnishings.

B. Installer Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years experience assembling and installing site furnishings.

** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Include a mock-up if the project size and/or quality warrant taking such a precaution. The following is one example of how a mock-up on a large project might be specified. When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project.

C. Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship.

1. Finish areas designated by Architect.

2. Do not proceed with remaining work until workmanship, color, and sheen are approved by Architect.

3. Refinish mock-up area as required to produce acceptable work.

1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING

A. Store products in manufacturer's unopened packaging until ready for installation.

B. Do not deliver until conditions are ready for installation.

1.7 PROJECT CONDITIONS

A. Maintain environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, and ventilation) within limits recommended by manufacturer for optimum results. Do not install products under environmental conditions outside manufacturer's absolute limits.

1.8 WARRANTY

A. Limited twenty-year warranty against structural failure of all table frames, litter receptacle frames, and steel planters.

B. Limited five-year warranty against structural failure of douglas fir, redwood, western red cedar and ipe products.

C. Limited ten-year warranty against structural failure of recycled plastic; it is further warrantied not to degrade, split, crack, or splinter during this period.

D. Limited 3 year warranty on structural failure of all bike racks.
