Overview:

Manage and maximize the extension of credit and collections of an average trade accounts receivable base of over $150MM resulting from approximately $2 billion of sales revenue flowing annually through the Major National, Retail and Consumer Electronics Credit Region.

Responsibilities:

* Responsible for managing and approving open credit lines greater than $750K through sound financial analysis of customers' financial statements and industry conditions. * Maintain 99% of trade receivables to an aging of less than 90 days old. * Days Sales Outstanding according to terms * Bad Debt Expense to be held at 5 basis points or less of sales revenue. * Supervise 20 direct and indirect reports including several Credit Managers. * Provide support to Tech Data Canada Credit and executive management. * Increase revenue partnering and teaming with Tech Data Sales and Product Marketing. * Make decisions and negotiate settlements within the approved level of authority with minimum supervision*Performs additional duties as assigned *Meets attendance and punctuality standards* Is an advocate for superior customer service as prescribed by our Customer Experience First (CX1) initiative. *Responsible for the development of the best possible customer relationships through various types of contact.*

Able to develop and improve inter-departmental relationships. ------* BA Accounting Degree from an accredited college or university. * Professional Designation, eg. CPA active license, NACM Certified Credit Executive. * NACM Certified Course Instructor. * Experience working with attorneys concerning bankruptcy, preferential payment suits, mediations and settlement negotiations. * Proven negotiation skills. * Exposure to international business including but not limited to Canada and Latin America*Able to maintain confidentiality of senstitive information.
