Prokaryotic Cell Model

Create a 3D model of a prokaryotic cell. Your model should include…

  • All structures found within a generic prokaryotic cell: flagella, cillis (pili), capsule, cell wall, cell membrane, cytoplasm, DNA (nucleoid region),
  • Each different structure should be represented by a different item.
  • Each structure should be labeled – either with the name directly attached to the structure, or a name/letter on the structure matching to an attached key.
  • A separate key will be provided that lists the structure, the item used to represent that structure, and the function of that structure.

There are several places on our class website that will help you to see each structure clearly. Be creative! Be neat!

Each correct structure is worth 1 point, each correct function is worth 1 point, creativity, neatness, and overall quality of work is worth 6 points, for a total of 20 points! Good Luck!!
