Münster. Classic cars fans and enthusiasts from all over Europe plus international car manufacturers come together at the world’s biggest historic car show Techno Classica to present their vintage vehicles. Obviously, this is an event that Glasurit, as a long-standing automotive colour and paint expert, cannot afford to miss.

Paint expert with a long tradition

Techno Classica is the world’s biggest exhibition of historic and classic cars. The organisers recorded over 180,000 visitors over the five days of the show. Glasurit presented itself to visitors with a large exhibition stand in Hall 5.0, whose highlight were 12 model cars that had been painted in historic car colours.

With its experience stretching back over more than 100 years, Glasurit was a fitting addition to the roll of traditional car makers. “This show is a major forum for premium car manufacturers with a strong tradition. As paint experts, we not only share their passion for cars, we have also been in partnership with most manufacturers for many years,” explains Glasurit Brand Manager Ignacio Cabrera.

Glasurit Classic Car Colors

Glasurit focused its trade-fair presentation on the Classic Car Colors service, which revolves around the world’s largest colour library. With this service, Glasurit supports classic car lovers throughout the world in their passion – the authentic restoration of historic cars with the latest environmentally friendly technology.

High level of colour expertise, for professionals too

Classic car painting professionals from bodyshops too were able to convince themselves of Glasurit’s high level of colour competence. The presentations included Glasurit RATIO Scan II. The mobile spectrophotometer facilitates colour identification, selects the suitable colour and refers to a colour chip and the relevant mixing formula in the Glasurit Color Profi System. This is a perfectly organised, practical and economical system comprising thousands of colour chips.

Glasurit’s exhibition stand met with a positive response from visitors.

“Our programme at the stand, with its mix of information and animation, did more than add a colourful touch to Techno Classica. We used this platform to position ourselves with Classic Car Colors as the expert for historic car colours among car manufacturers and friends of classic cars,” was Cabrera’s positive summary of the five-day exhibition.
