The Director, Chittaranjan National Cancer Institute, invites online submission of e-tenders in two bid pattern on from the reputed, eligible and qualified Bidders/Authorised Distributors/Dealers/Retailers/Manufacturers for supply of Anti-Cancer and Supportive Drugs and General Drug under Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi (RAN) scheme and patient welfare fund as per list given in Annexure –A at a maximum discounted rates.

Manufacturers in two bid pattern for supply of Anti-Cancer and Supportive Drugs and General Drug under Rashtriya Arogya Nidhi (RAN) scheme and patient welfare fund as per list given in Annexure –A at a maximum discounted rates.

Date and time of online opening of tender : 09.07.2016 after 14.30 hours

Estimated cost: Rs. 15 Lakhs approximately

EMD : Rs. 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only)

N.B: Those who have already participated in 1st call need not deposit the Earnest Money however tender processing fees are to be given.

The tender documents must be accompanied with scanned copy of demand draft of Rs.1000.00 (nonrefundable) towards the cost of tender processing fee and Rs. 25,000/- towards EMD in the form of Demand Draft (DD)/Bank Guarantee (BG) in favour of the Director, CNCI, Kolkata, payable at Kolkata (Refundable as per rule). Original Demand Draft/Bank Guarantee for cost of tender and EMD must be submitted to the Director, CNCI, Kolkata positively up to: (12.00 hrs of date 09.07.2016) failing which the tender shall be summarily rejected.

CNCI does not take any responsibility for the delay/non submission of tender.

Note:

  1. Bidders who wish to participate in this tender will have to register on http// further bidders who wish to participate in online tenders will have to procure digital certificate as per information technology act 2000, using which they can sign their electronic bids.
  2. Bidders shall submit their bids online in electronic format on above mentioned website to time and date mentioned herein above.

Terms and conditions for supply of Drugs

  1. Attested copies of up to date clearance certificate of professional tax, trade licence, and credential certificates should be submitted along with the offer. Incomplete offer will not be entertained.
  2. The successful bidder will have to execute an agreement with CNCI with stamp paper of appropriate value and submit Bank Guarantee of Rs. One Lakh duly executed by any nationalised Bank, towards security deposit for the aforesaid contract. The said Bank Guarantee requires to be revalidated if situation so demands. No interest on the Bank Guarantee will be paid by CNCI .The Authority of this Institute shall have the authority to forfeit the Bank Guarantee Money if the tenderer fails to supply the drugs as per the agreed terms and conditions.
  3. EMD will be refunded as per rule.
  4. The bidders should provide credential certificate of supplying anti cancer drugs to hospitals.
  5. The rates, if accepted, shall be valid for one year commencing from the date of work order issued to the party.
  6. The medicines should have at least six months time to expiry at the time of delivery.
  7. The contract will be for one year and may be extended up to three years under the same terms and conditions, subject to availability of fund.
  8. The successful Bidder will have to collect prescriptions of the patients requiring the drugs under the above scheme from the Chemotherapy Department every morning and the prescribed drugs must be supplied as per schedule.
  9. The bidders should submit the list of medicines along with their current MRP and the maximum discount they can offer on MRP should be mentioned on the tender.
  10. The annual turn- over of the firm should be at least equal to twice the amount of annual value of drug purchase by CNCI.
  11. Separate offer for Anti-cancer Drugs and general/ supportive Drugs are to be submitted.
  12. Offer of discount must be submitted for all the drugs as per Annexure –A, failing which the quotation will be liable to be rejected.
  13. The Director reserves the right to accept/reject any/all the offers without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  14. Settlement of any dispute emanating from the resultant contract is subject to the jurisdiction of Kolkata only.
