Introduction

Business Anytime...Anywhere!!

‘My Approvals' has been developed on mobile platform to ensure Managers and Delivery Heads are empowered with easy and instant access to approval requests pending for their action. This solution will not only lend flexibility to perform actions on their approval requests on the move, but also reduce approval cycle time. All they need is access to the internet.
Below applications are integrated to synchronize the respective approvals and display the requests in ‘My Approvals’ application for action:

  • Leave Management System (LMS)
  • Travel Authorization System (TAS)
  • Cash Voucher Claim System (CVCS)
  • Cab Approval System (CAS)
  • HCL Today

Note:Apart from the listed applications, we are in a process of integrating other applications in Phase II.

Let us have a look at how we can use the application:

Instructions for Mobile users:

  1. Use the following link mentioned below
  1. Download the set up accordingly (For Mobile devices-iOS/Android and Desktops/laptops)
  2. Install

Instructions for Desktop users:

For Android users:

  • Under Settings, enable ‘Unknown sources’ to allow installation of non-market apps

For iOS users:

  • Install the app through ‘iTunes’ on your iPhone

Step1:

Click on ‘My HCL’ icon on ‘Menu’ screen on your mobile

Step 2:

  • Login using your HCL userID and password and Click on ‘Login’

Step 3:

Click on ‘My Approvals’ icon

Step 4:

The screen will list down all the mobile-based applications with the count of approvals pending with you and require your action

Step 5:

Click on the link of respective application

A new screen listing the details of the pending requests that need your actions will populate

Step 6:

Tap on the request that you want to take action on.

Step 7:

Click on ‘Details’ to view detailed information of the request

Step 8:

Click on ‘Approve’/ ‘Reject’

Please note ‘Remarks’ are mandatory in case of request rejection.

The processing time for the approval depends upon the GPRS that you are using.

Step 9:

You can select or deselect the requests from the tabs at the bottom of the page

Bulk Update functionality:

To take action on multiple requests in one go, there is a provision check the boxes against the respective requests and take the required action. You can even select or deselect requests with the help of the tabs at the bottom of the page.

Step 10:

Navigate to the home page or click Logout to exit the Mobile- based Approval System.

Feedback mechanism

We value your feedback and hence we have incorporated feedback mechanism in the app so that we continuously strive to work on improving the interface per your valuable feedback, so that your experience with the app is unique.

Tap on Feedback from the Home Page

  • Select from the drop-down, the application on which you intend to give feedback
  • Tap on the stars that denote your feedback. For instance, for ‘Excellent’, tap on 5 stars and henceforth.
  • Enter verbatim feedback in ‘Remarks’ field.
