OPEN ENROLLMENT GROUP MEETING: November 30th & December 1st
BENEFITS EFFECTIVE: 1/1/2016
It’s time to discuss employee benefits! In an effort to offer you great benefits that you can choose from we are having our annual open enrollmentmeetings. In our upcoming OPEN ENROLLMENT you will be educated on all of the great benefit CHANGES offered. Expect to hear more on all of these benefits that are offered to you:
- Major Medical remains Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennessee
- Short Term DisabilityInsurance (change in carrier to Lincoln Financial)
- Long Term Disability (change in carrier to Lincoln Financial)
- Life Insurance (change in carrier to Lincoln Financial)
- Dental(change in carrier to Lincoln Financial)
- Vision (change in carrier to Lincoln Financial)
The BCBST medical insurance options will also be changing. There will now be 4 option choices. We will have 2 network options, Network P and Network S. The University of Tennessee Medical Center is moving to Network P and will not be in Network S. So, if you use UT, you will need to choose a Network P option. Theold Option 1 will no longer be available. If you are currently in Option 1, or if want to change options, you will need to come in. The other plan options that remain will also have changes to them. Please carefully review the available options on the enclosed rate sheet.
Several of the current benefit offerings will be replaced by new comprehensive and extremely competitive options. Those who currently have benefit offerings through Dearborn National, United Healthcare or Union Security/Abacus will transfer to Lincoln Financial.
Each employee maychoose their own personal options. If you want to make changes to your plans, please attendthe upcoming group meetings. On November 30thmeetings will be at the Central Office in Morristown 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. On December 1stmeetings will be at the Central Office in Morristownfrom 8:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m., and in Maryville atNew Providence Presbyterian Church at 703 West Broadway from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
