Content and Language Objectives (student friendly):
I will show mastery of calculating constant rate of change &slope.
I will read using new vocabulary of slope and constant rate of change to understand directions on quiz.
Lesson Procedures:
Warm-up: Over slope and constant rate of change.
Check Homework:
Lesson: Students will practice calculating slope by paying jeopardy on the Starboard.
Independent Practice: Quiz 5A
Homework: WS: Slope / Mathematics, Grade 7 Pre-AP
Content and Language Objectives (student friendly):
I will use similar triangles to develop an understanding of slope.
I will use new vocabulary including slope and constant rate of change to describe similar triangles on a graph.

Warm-up: Over Slope
Check Homework:
Lesson: Launch the lesson: Real world Pg. 187, then use PPT and examples from Pgs 196-197 to model ratios, proportions, and determining numeric value for slope.
Independent Practice: Pg. 188 Got it? Pg 190 Got it?
Homework: Pg. 190 #1-3, Pg. 191-192 # 1-9 / Mathematics, Grade 7 Pre-AP

Warm-up: Warm-up over slope and similar triangles.

Lesson:Students will solve real world problems involving Rational Numbers, probability and similar figures. Student will explain to each other how to answers each real world problems. When students cannot agree upon an answer, they can ask another group or the teacher. Turn in page one of review for daily grade.
