Congratulations! The Chicago Foundation for Education is pleased to offer you an Action Research Leadership Institute (ARLI) Fellowship accompanied by an honorarium of $1,250. To accept this Fellowship: (a) complete the information above, (b) read the requirements below, (c) secure the necessary signatures, (d) make a copy for your records, and (e) return this Contract by Tuesday, August 9, 2016.
If you are NOT able to accept this award, please let us know as soon as possible.
FELLOWSHIP PARTICIPATION PLEDGE:
1. I will attend all scheduled ARLI meetings. In the event of an emergency, I will contact Dr. Sue Hansen at Sue Hansen at within 24 hours to discuss the appropriate make-up assignment.
2. I will fully participate in meetings, contributing to the success of the ARLI cohort experience. This includes completing assigned readings and homework, as well as sharing in online discussion forums.
3. I will write a 15-20 page Final Paper (which, if selected, will be added to the CFE website in the summer of 2017) and Executive Summary detailing my findings and policy recommendations from my action research.
4. I will prepare a presentation and share my findings/policy recommendations with my ARLI colleagues and friends of CFE at the ARLI Research & Policy Forum in June 2017.
5. I will participate in opportunities to share policy recommendations that are supported by my research findings. If appropriate, I will also identify an opportunity to present to members of my school/network/community.
6. I will have access to, check, and respond to the email address listed above on a regular basis.
7. I understand that Fellowship checks are contingent on participation and completion of assignments and are tentatively scheduled for distribution as follows: $550 in December 2016 and $700 in July 2017. I understand that there will be a $30 charge to have a check reissued. I further understand that failure to submit the Final Paper, Final Report, and/or Executive Summary will result in forfeiture of my final payment.
