Objective: Participants will learn of the rapidly-emerging technology of Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) as a foundation for making valid decisions for their business or organization.

Summary: The rapid emergence over the last 12 months of small UAS technologies for commercial use has left many of us with questions. How can UAS benefit our organization? Who is allowed to operate UAS? How do we do it safely? What are current regulations and legislation regarding UAS?

This course will answer these questions and more so that participants will come away with sufficient knowledge and reference materials to serve as a foundation for making valid decisions for their business or organization. The course includes an introduction to UAS technology, along with detailed information on applications, operations and current regulations. Professional development hours will be available. More information about this course can be found at www.kyt2.com.

Sponsorship: Sponsorship is available for $1,000. Sponsors will receive recognition in the program, one conference registration, recognition in the opening remarks, agency materials in participant handouts, name and website link on course page, and ten minutes to speak during the luncheon.

Lodging: For lodging reservations contact the Embassy Suites at 859-455-5000, be sure to mention the Kentucky Transportation Center to receive the lodging rate of $169 plus tax for a single room.
